Best SEO Reporting Tools for Agencies

Last updated: 6 July 2026

Changelog: first published 3 July 2026. Prices last checked July 2026.

Choosing the best SEO reporting tools comes down to a simple question: how much time and money does it cost you to put a report a client actually reads in their inbox every month? We are Luckywebs, a London SEO and web agency, and monthly reporting is a fixed part of every retainer we run. This guide ranks the tools we believe agencies should shortlist in 2026, with pricing checked in July 2026 and honest notes on when the free option is the right answer.

How should agencies choose SEO reporting software?

Agencies should judge SEO reporting software on four things: which data sources it pulls in, whether reports can be scheduled and sent automatically, how complete the white label options are, and what it costs per client per month. A tool that fails on any one of these creates manual work that eats retainer margin.

Here is how we weigh each criterion:

  • Data sources. You need Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, rank tracking and site audit data in one report. Every extra tool you screenshot from is unbilled time.
  • Scheduling. SEO reporting software for clients should send itself: monthly PDF or live link, on a set date, with no human pressing export.
  • White label. Your logo, your domain, your colours. If clients see the vendor’s brand, you are advertising someone else’s product.
  • Cost per client. Divide the monthly bill by the clients it covers. This number decides whether a tool scales with you or against you.

We go deeper on branding options in our guide to the best white label SEO reporting platforms.

What are the best SEO reporting tools for agencies?

The best SEO reporting tools for agencies in 2026 are SE Ranking with the Agency Pack, AgencyAnalytics, Looker Studio, DashThis, Databox and Whatagraph. SE Ranking tops our list because it is the only one here that generates the SEO data (rankings, audits, backlinks) and the client report in one subscription, which keeps cost per client low.

1. SE Ranking + Agency Pack

SE Ranking is an all-in-one SEO platform: rank tracking, site audits, keyword and competitor research, plus a report builder. As of July 2026, the Core plan is £76 per month on annual billing (£95 billed monthly) and covers 10 projects and 2,000 daily tracked keywords. The Growth plan is £167.20 per month on annual billing (£209 monthly) for 30 projects. Prices shown are GBP as displayed to UK visitors.

The Agency Pack add-on is £49 per month (annual billing only) and adds white label for the platform and reporting, 30 client seats, unlimited scheduled reports with AI summaries, and a lead generator tool. The cost per client maths is the headline: Core plus Agency Pack is £125 per month across 10 clients, or £12.50 each, and around £7.21 per client on Growth with 30 projects. Most standalone report tools cost more and still need a separate rank tracker feeding them.

The honest trade-off: reporting is one module of a large platform, so the dashboard editor is less flexible than a dedicated dashboard product. If you only want dashboards and already own an SEO toolkit, look at AgencyAnalytics or DashThis.

2. AgencyAnalytics

AgencyAnalytics is a dedicated client reporting platform built for agencies. As of July 2026, the Core plan is $20 (about £15) USD per client per month on annual billing and includes white label branding with a custom domain, 85+ integrations, scheduled reports, unlimited client and staff users, and a client portal. A rank tracker add-on costs $41.67 (about £31) USD per month per 500 keywords, and there is a 14 day free trial with no card required.

The per-client pricing is the strength and the weakness: cheap and predictable at 5 clients, $800 (about £588) a month before rank tracking at 40. For pure reporting polish this is arguably the best SEO report software on the market, but you still need SEO tools behind it to generate the data it displays.

3. Looker Studio (free)

Looker Studio is Google’s free dashboard builder, and for reporting on Google’s own data it is genuinely excellent. Google Search Console, GA4 and Google Ads connect natively at no cost, dashboards are fully brandable, and live links never go out of date. Looker Studio Pro, which adds organisational ownership and team features, costs $9 (about £7) USD per user per Google Cloud project per month as of July 2026.

The catches: there is no scheduling worth relying on for polished PDFs, anything outside the Google ecosystem usually needs a paid third-party connector, and every dashboard is built by hand. Free in licence fees is not free in hours. We cover where it still wins below.

4. DashThis

DashThis is a dashboard tool with deliberately simple per-dashboard pricing. As of July 2026 (USD, annual billing): Individual is $44 (about £32) per month for 3 dashboards, Professional is $139 (about £102) per month for 10 dashboards and adds full white label including a custom domain and email, Business is $279 (about £205) for 25, and Standard is $429 (about £315) for 50. All plans include unlimited users and unlimited integrations, and a free trial is available.

One dashboard per client makes budgeting easy: Professional works out at $13.90 (about £10) per client across 10 clients. It is a strong pick for agencies that want attractive marketing dashboards with minimal setup, though like AgencyAnalytics it reports on data rather than generating it.

5. Databox

Databox is an analytics and dashboard platform priced by data source rather than by client. As of July 2026 (USD, annual billing): a free plan covers 3 data sources and 1 dashboard for a single user, Analyst is $64 (about £47) per month, Pro is $159 (about £117) per month with unlimited users, and Growth is $399 (about £293) per month. White labelling is a paid add-on on the Analyst, Pro and Growth plans, listed at $14 (about £10) billed annually.

The free plan makes Databox a sensible first step for a freelancer with one or two clients. The per-source model gets expensive for agencies, though: every client usually means several connected sources, so do the maths on your own client list first.

6. Whatagraph

Whatagraph is a premium multi-channel reporting platform aimed at larger agencies. As of July 2026, the Go plan is €199 per month with 20 source credits, and the Max plan starts from €699 per month with 50+ source credits and white label reports. All paid billing is annual only, one source credit equals one connected data account, a free plan covers 5 credits, and there is a 14 day trial.

Cross-channel blending (SEO plus paid plus social in one report) is a genuine strength, but at these prices Whatagraph only makes sense for agencies with substantial multi-channel retainers. For an SEO-led agency, the tools above deliver similar client value for far less.

How do the best SEO reporting tools compare on price?

The table below compares entry pricing, pricing model and white label availability for all six tools, as of July 2026. Each price is shown in the currency the vendor displays; we have not converted between currencies.

Remember what each price buys. SE Ranking includes rank tracking and audits; the dashboard tools need data feeding into them, so add your SEO toolkit’s cost when comparing totals. If you are still choosing that toolkit, our SEO tools hub compares the main platforms.

Which SEO reporting tool fits your agency?

The right choice depends on your client count, channels and margins. Here are our verdicts by agency type, based on the July 2026 pricing above:

  • Freelancer with 1 to 5 clients: Looker Studio if your clients live in Google data and your time is cheap; Databox’s free plan or AgencyAnalytics at $20 (about £15) per client if it is not.
  • SEO-led agency with 5 to 30 clients: SE Ranking with the Agency Pack. One subscription generates the data and the branded report, and cost per client falls as you grow into the Growth plan.
  • Multi-channel agency (SEO plus PPC plus social): AgencyAnalytics for predictable per-client pricing, or Whatagraph if report polish justifies the premium.
  • Dashboard-first agency with its own toolkit: DashThis. Simple pricing, unlimited users, quick setup.

If you want the structure of the report itself sorted before you pick a tool, start with our client SEO report template.

When is free Looker Studio the right answer?

Free Looker Studio is the right answer when your reports draw mostly on Google Search Console, GA4 and Google Ads, your client count is small, and you can spare the build time. In that scenario, paying for reporting software buys you convenience you may not need yet.

Be honest about the hidden costs, though. Third-party connectors for non-Google sources are usually paid subscriptions in their own right, dashboards break when APIs change, and there is no proper send-on-schedule PDF workflow. Hand-built dashboards are fine at three clients and a quiet liability at fifteen. When reporting starts stealing delivery hours, that is the signal to pay for automation.

What else do agencies ask about SEO reporting tools?

These are the questions agency owners ask most often when comparing SEO reporting tools, answered briefly and honestly, with links to fuller guides where one exists.

What is SEO reporting software?

SEO reporting software is a tool that collects data from sources such as Google Search Console, GA4 and rank trackers, and turns it into scheduled, branded reports or live dashboards for clients. Some products (SE Ranking) generate the SEO data themselves; others (AgencyAnalytics, DashThis, Databox, Whatagraph, Looker Studio) visualise data produced elsewhere.

How much does SEO report software cost?

As of July 2026, real prices run from free (Looker Studio, Databox’s free plan) to €699 per month (Whatagraph Max). The most useful comparison is cost per client per month: roughly £12.50 on SE Ranking Core plus Agency Pack, $20 (about £15) flat on AgencyAnalytics, and $13.90 (about £10) on DashThis Professional across 10 dashboards. If Semrush is in your stack, its white label reports are priced separately from the plans; our guide to Semrush pricing breaks down what its reporting costs.

What should an SEO report for clients include?

A monthly client SEO report should cover organic traffic, keyword rankings against targets, conversions or leads from organic, work completed, and next month’s plan, in that order of prominence. We break down the exact structure, section by section, in our client SEO report template.

Do clients actually care about white label reports?

Existing clients rarely comment on branding, but prospective clients judge polish, and a report carrying another company’s logo undermines the expertise you are selling. White labelling matters most at proposal and renewal time. See our comparison of the best white label SEO reporting platforms for the strongest options.

How often should an agency send SEO reports?

Monthly is the standard for SEO retainers, and we think it is the right default: weekly reporting amplifies noise in a channel that moves slowly, while quarterly leaves clients wondering what they are paying for. Pair the monthly report with a live dashboard link for clients who like to check in between reports.

Can you trust SEO reporting software reviews?

Treat SEO reporting software reviews as a shortlisting aid, not a verdict. Many roundups are affiliate-driven (including, transparently, this one), so cross-check any claim that matters against the vendor’s own pricing page and reviews on G2 or Capterra, then run the free trial with one real client account before paying.

Is the best SEO reporting software different for in-house teams?

Usually, yes. In-house teams report to one brand, so white label and per-client pricing stop mattering, which strengthens the case for Looker Studio or Databox. The best SEO reporting software for agencies is built around many clients, scheduling and branding, which is why SE Ranking’s Agency Pack and AgencyAnalytics lead our list.

Ready to cut your reporting time?

Every tool on this list has a free trial or free tier, so the cheapest way to decide is to build one real client report in your top pick this week. SE Ranking’s 14 day trial includes the report builder, and the Agency Pack can be added once you have clients to brand for.
